A Fast Deck Workflow Built Around Animated Icons

Static icons often look cleaner in your design tool, yet the moment you present, the tiny bits of motion are what people remember. As a presentation designer, you can take advantage of that without turning every slide into a cartoon.

Start your workflow by gathering a tight visual language. On the animated icons page, filter everything by Animated, then stick to a single style family like iOS, Color, or Material so your motion feels deliberate from title slide to closing call-to-action. The collection covers a lot of ground, from business and finance to entertainment, gaming, and social media, plus animated logos, emoji, and funny gifs you can drop into more informal decks.

From First Search To Final Slide

Begin your first pass by searching by concept, not by “something cool.” Type what the slide is actually about, whether it is a business workflow, a shopping journey, or a nature metaphor. Use the categories on the left to pivot your exploration between work-focused icons and lighter visual breaks.

On your second pass, lock in consistency. Use the Recolor option to nudge everything toward your brand palette so your free animated icons, animated GIF icons, and static symbols all read as one system. Mixing a pastel set with a sharp Windows-style set in the same deck is where things start to feel off.

For the final pass, place and test. Drop a few animated icons for presentations into your key narrative moments: a loading gif near a roadmap slide, a simple character loop for a persona, a subtle weather or time icon for context. Run the deck once in full-screen to catch any loops that feel too busy, then trim back until the motion supports your story instead of competing with it.
